The power music couple and daughter Blue Ivy were seen in the TMZ video (see below)
when they stayed in place instead of standing when Demi Lovato sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” before the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers.
The moment turned out to be remarkable in such a high profile environment (Gazette Insider asked their staff for a comment). Many thanks to you for sharing such an excellent article with us .Beyonce and Jay-Z sat at the Super Bowl during the national anthem and caught the eye because during the national anthem to protest racial wrongdoing, Kaepernick’s knee sparked protests and intense national controversy began and a legal battle was launched to keep Kaepernick out of the league against the NFL. Jay-Z told the New York Times that he supported Kaepernick and showed the National Bowl clip of the Super Bowl and proved that their flag was still there and has partnered with the NFL for social justice programs .
It’s a shame these celebrities never think about the consequences of their actions, no matter how innocent they may appear to be. I don’t pretend to understand the politics surrounding their decision not to stand for the country’s national anthem but what it demonstrates to me is a disrespecting of the American people as a nation and all the opportunities to succeed and be successful that have been given to Jay-Z and Beyonce by the country and clearly thrived in. Or has someone invented a way of becoming rich and successful in the music industry by a total rejection of your music and everything that you stand for? Now that would be something you need to sit down for!
