Brad Pitt playfully ripped Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal exit at the British Academy Film Awards 2020 on Sunday evening.
The actor “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”, who was nominated and awarded a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actor, was actually not at the award ceremony.
Instead, he sent co-star Margot Robbie to accept his award and read a funny little speech that included a joke about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Brad couldn’t be here tonight due to family commitments, so he asked me to read his answer for him, “Robbie said before reading Pitt’s speech.
He starts with the words: ‘Hey, Great Britain.
I heard you just got single.
Welcome to the club!”Said Robbie, referring to the separation of Brexit and Pitt from Angelina Jolie.
I wish you all the best in your divorce, blah, blah, blah, “Robbie quipped before thanking the academy on behalf of Pitt and calling out the team behind” Once Upon a Time “.
At the end of the speech, Robbie picked up the statue and joked that Pitt said, “He’ll call this Harry.”
He’s really excited to bring it to the States, “she said as the crowd gasped and clapped.”His words, not mine.
At that point, the camera panned to Prince William and Kate Middleton, who laughed at the joke.
Actor Rebel Wilson also joked about Harry and Prince Andrew, who stepped down from his royal duties last year when his bond with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein grew in importance.

Wills and Kate would have taken this in the humour that it was given. Their country is going through some massive changes at the moment so I’m sure a little jibing from a celebrity or two would have helped take their mind off of things. No doubt His Royal Highness will find an opportunity to give and equally scathing retort some time in the not too distant future. If not, Prince William can always have Brad Pitt thrown in the Tower of London.

Wow! This is really funny. Especially the second video. She made me laugh the hell outta my life when she mentioned she made her dress from two different old dress. She must be a comedian, lol. One thing that caught my attention mostly is that she’s humble! She says she doesn’t deserve the award. I hope the award would indeed be a wonderful way to escape coronal virus. 😃
